I was not bashing the stadium, just the opposite, I think it is an outstanding facility and should be a great recruiting tool, it is just a shame that they can't fill it.
The luxury boxes are great and the proximity of the parking makes for better tailgating than Mountaineer Field.
Moron, maybe but a luck one, in turning down a scholarship offer from Perry Moss, the two guys I was on the recruiting visit with were on "the plane"

Sorry, Dawg, but here's the difference between Bama and WVU. They don't give a shit about what it might cost. They have UNLIMITED funds. Two phone calls gets them 20 mil. Hell, I know guys in Birmingham with more money than God who'll give them whatever they need if they think it gets the Tide back in the Championship game.
In Alabama there are 3 major sports; football, spring football, and recruiting. That's why MTV didn't do a show about WV high school football.
Jobs are won and lost, marriages arranged and dissolved, futures determined by Alabama and Auburn football. People plan their vacations around the Iron Bowl.
And anybody named "DAWG" automatically gives up the right to call anyone "moron".

I really don't know why there were so many folks so up in arms about the possibility of him leaving..
So far, he has had two of the biggest chokes in the History of WVU and they took place in the same damn season..
He has a lousy D..
And he has come across as a total jerk in these negotiations...
All they had to do was beat Lousiville and an unranked USF team and they would play for all the marbles..
Instead, they choked..
It's just what WVU does..
Just wait til Slayton and White leave...

C'mon now. WVU does have a little history with choking. All real WVU fans I know spend much time lamenting this.
Also, you can't blame Shockley for his lack of knowledge about bradcasting. It's a very esoteric subject that few people know anything about. I bet 99.99999999999% of the people on this board know nothing about bradcasting.

Well he did say to "check my underwear", so maybe klever has gotta a good buddy by the name of Brad that likes to do things with his underwear!!
I really don't care what klever does in the privacy of his own studio, just as long as he keeps that Brad feller away from me!! lol
As far as WVU being chokers..
It's what they do..
It's what they have always done..
They choked all the time in the Nehlen era..
They came within a fake punt of choking in the Sugar Bowl last year..
And this year they had arguably their biggest choke of all time when they were ranked #7 in the country and they got beat in Morgantown by an unranked team!!!
All they had to do was beat Louiville and an unranked USF team and they go to the National Championship..
Hell, they still might have had a crack at the National Championship had they just beat South Florida!!!
Instead they choked...
And it's not like USF snuck up on them and beat them at the end of the game, the Eers were getting beat at halftime!!!
HELLO! ADJUSTMENTS ANYONE????
The hardest part at the beginning of the year was listening to so many brainwashed Mountaineer die hards predicting that they were going to win out...
I have been following the Eers since they beat Oklahoma in Norman, so while I was rooting for them to do well, I had a really hard time trying to get the brainwashed die hards to settle down into something resembling reality...
I knew that they would probably lose to Louisville... And I also thought that they would geat beat by some team that they shouldn't lose to..
But my God, being ranked #7 in the country and getting beat at home by an unranked USF???
BIG TIME CHOKE!!!

"Rodriguez might have developed a good program at WVU, but it's light-years away from football in the SEC. He will not make it at Alabama."
If I'm not mistaken a WVU team ambushed the SEC Champion in bowl last year and beat another SEC team this year.
Maybe WVU is light years away from where the Tide is right now but on the other side of the equation.
Forget the history lesson. Army and Princeton used to be good and the Bear is long time worm food. What have you done lately?

WVU has never done ANYTHING ANYTIME. One thing matters, championships, the rest is masturbatory self congratulation.
National Championships; Bama 7
WVU 0
Win one, then talk some trash.
I don't dislike WVU, but they've had, as far as I can remember, one shot at a championship, '92 or '93 Sugar Bowl wasn't it.
They got the clocks cleaned.
Describing the reality of the difference between SEC and Big East football does not denigrate the Big East. It is what it is. The only championship team they've ever had is in the ACC now.
Fuck Ohio State.

"said that Rodriguez took approximately $1.75 million per year to remain in Morgantown. Part of that agreement was a clause to build a new academic center and locker room by a set period of time, otherwise the contract would be voided."
This dude isn't worth $1.75 Million!!!
He hasn't won enough to pull down that kind of cash..
Not yet anyway!!!
