FTV Live - Most often when TV Anchors get into a fight, it's more of an argument over the hairspray in the makeup room, or which Anchor got more face time on the newscast.

But, sources tell FTVLive that two Anchors from WSAZ in Charleston, WV, got into a real fist throwing fight.

Word is that Anchor Erica Bivens (top) and Weather Anchor Chelsea Ambriz (Bottom) got into a fight at a local bar.

The two Anchor the 4PM newscast on the station and sources say that they attended...get this...an event to help end domestic violence against women called "Girls Night Out"!

Witnesses say it started as an argument, turned into a shoving match and then fists were flying. Word is that Bivens took quite a shot and had to be helped out of the bar.

Police are investigating, but say they are still interviewing the two along with witnesses. FTVLive is efforting to get the police report.

Both Anchor's bios are still listed on the Gray station's website, but sources tell FTVLive neither one has been back on the air.

This should be a lesson to you all out there. You never get into a bar fight with one of your co-anchors unless it's in a ratings period.

The other rule of Anchor Fight Club....is you don't talk about Anchor Fight Club.

Updated: Sources tell FTVLive that Ambriz is off the air at least until the end of the week. Another source tells FTVLIve that Ambriz was clearly the aggressor in the fight and that Bivens has suffered a fracture skull and has filed a report with the police and wants to press charges.

Witnesses tell FTVLive that the fight started with Ambriz acting "inappropriately" towards Bivens husband.

Update 2: Word is that Charges have now been filed against Ambriz.

While WSAZ (Charleston, WV) refuses to say anything about the fight that left one of their Anchors with a fractured skull and the another Anchor facing charges, they made one move today.

They fired the anchors.

The bios of Erica Bivens and Chelsea Ambriz have gone missing from the station's website.

Sources tell FTVLive that station has contacted both Anchors and told them they were fired.

You could understand why Ambriz was sacked, since she is the one that police have charged in the incident. Bivens getting sacked is a bit of a head scratcher. She suffered a fractured skull and then is fired.

WSAZ owner Gray has made no comments on the incident, which makes you wonder, if they can’t report on their own they really shouldn’t be reporting on anyone else’s disput

Bivens started the confrontation. All she had to do was hug her husband and turn her back, and she'd still be able to hear out of both ears and wouldn't have a headache.

WSAZ is probably the only media outlet who has a valid excuse for not reporting it. The way privacy laws are now, reporting on an internal personnel issue would guarantee one or maybe two lawsuits against them.

Ambriz is really the one who started it by flirting and coming on to Bivens husband. Bivens was just standing up in the face of the real fighter. Ambriz threw the punch 🥊

Well, I guess they assign blame in the courts and the holler by who threw the first punch, but when you have a morals clause in your contract and you rush up looking for a fight and you get one, then you share the blame. Looks like that’s the way your bosses see it, too.

CBS is definately reporting about their Les Moonves mess, and about Julie Chen's support (or lack of). Of course, they're already in the middle of a legal swamp over his dismissal. They'd better be right, or they're going to be paying him way more than his 120-million dollar severance. They're taking the "all or nothing" gambit!
