CHARLESTON, W.Va. (Heath Harrison) -- The publisher of the Detroit Free Press apologized Tuesday for an offensive comment posted on Twitter by one of the paper’s journalists regarding the West Virginia water crisis.
On Monday, reporter Zlati Meyer had posted, "#WestVirginia has its tainted water problem under ctrl. Now, it can work on incest."
Meyer’s comments immediately drew harsh criticism from others on Twitter.

Re: Detroit Free Press
Yep...someone hailing from one of the biggest toilets in the free world, Detroit, spouting off about a place probably never visited by the writer. This so-called journalist should do due diligence and would soon discover that West Virginians have distinguished themselves in almost every human endeavor.
