Rep's Rock And Roll Repository: The 1980's

This is a good place to drop general and weird news, entertainment, and general show prep material that might be interesting to air talent or producers. Hot dog threads ALWAYS welcome.

Excellent selections on the second thread entry. Probably your best set so far.

LOVE the Jim Carroll Band selection! That was in recurrent rotation on CD101 in Columbus when I lived there. Brings back some fond memories.

ABC was a very underrated and underplayed 80s band.

My favorite Kirsty MacColl song of all time (also from CD101's playlist) was this little gem:

Only a few Gicks so far. Keep 'em coming.

:D

Just as I was missing your Top Album thread.
Some great songs, though a few may have actually been released in the 70's. (Jim Carrol Band for one, but why quibble, and I'd have to look em up to be sure).
Holiday, always my favorite Nazareth song.
Jim Carrol, god I love that album. Used to sing It's Too Late in a band in Richmond. Saw him with The Producers opening in 1980 in Richmond.
Single Bullet Theory, a Richmond band. I have the freakin' album. Of course, I got it from the station I was working at.
Good times.
