A "Popular" Website Is Up For Sale
Looks like Mark Halburn is moving on.....
From PutnamLIVE.com:
"The web site that has shot to the top of Putnam County readership in a few short years is for sale.
"I am looking for someone that loves Putnam County and wants to take news coverage to the next level," says PutnamLIVE.com Publisher Mark Hallburn. "We have raised the bar for news coverage in Putnam County and want to see that continue."
Hallburn started PutnamLIVE.com in order to bring daily news coverage to Putnam County. Soon he is moving to the Carolinas to take over a major news web site there."
Let the games begin!

Is this that extra Father's Day present you'll be getting next year?

Guess that lawsuit he threatened me with last month didn't pan-out.
I'll start the bidding at $5 for the website, but only if he throws-in all rights to use that photo of him with the fish...

Could mean Charlotte....I think that's the area most commonly referred to in that way. Could also mean Greenville/Spartanburg/Asheville, a single TV market that spans both states and is also often referred to collectively. I don't know why either of those would need another website, though. Therefore, I'm thinking Rockingham.....genlock wrote:He said "Carolinas". That does not mean Raleigh or Charlotte.
...or "South Of The Border!"

I'd obtain it and promptly set it up to auto-forward to walmart.com.genlock wrote:When Wal*Mark gives up the URL, we should get it and operate it as a satire site. Dedicated to Kanawha Stone and Wal*Mart.
