After many years of LMA WYRO, Jackson Count Broadcasting, Inc. has bought WYRO from Davis Broadcasting Media, Inc.

If I remember correctly, the LMA was put in place to get around ownership restrictions of the time when Lew Davis sold Jackson County Broadcasting. I remember 98.7 signed on as a religious station and had a noncommercial license for a while, but somewhere along the way it got changed to a commercial license and folded in with the rest of JCB.
