Giving up on AM nightime ops.

BY THIS APPLICATION, BRISTOL BROADCASTING COMPANY, INC., THE LICENSEE, SEEKS TO CHANGE THE OPERATING PARAMETERS OF WBES(AM) TO SPECIFY A DAYTIME POWER OF 5.0 KILOWATTS NON-DIRECTIONAL. THE APPLICANT PROPOSES TO USE TOWER 1 (ASR # 1033435) OF THE ARRAY AS THE NON-DIRECTIONAL RADIATOR FOR THE DAYTIME OPERATION. THE OTHER THREE TOWERS OF THE ARRAY WILL BE DISMANTLED AND REMOVED.

Wow!!!! Ol' Carrol Kessell ( of WSAZ/WGNT) built that array around 1944 (WWII).
Like the facilites in Huntington, he was proud of that work too....

Bet he rolled over when that was announced....
