Days of 8.4 (TBD) being red screen with the message Signal Loss Detecetd.
Could they not just blank the screen or drop the channel?

There used to be or is a LP station in Clarksburg that would rebroadcast the TBN network. Often the Directv receiver would shut off or get rebooted leaving nothing but the dancing Directv logo/screensaver broadcasting for days on end. You often wonder why operations like this even exist.
