Moderators: Arp2, Hoosier Daddy, The People's DJ

This guy was/is legal, as far as I know. He was hired for the gimmick of his accent. He was NOT as good as EITHER of the people that were cut loose to pay his salary. I would be less upset if he was an improvement. In fact, I was passed over for a full-time job previously by another guy that is still there. For two reasons: !) As a music/commercial voice talent he IS better than me. 2) I stunned my program director by RECOMMENDING that he hire this guy over me. As I said, he is still there. The foreign guy did radio a favor and left the business.
I will be the FIRST to admit that I don’t have a GREAT radio voice. I don’t have those deep-sounding “pipes” that PDs love. This is one of many reasons that I gravitated to news, where this is “less critical.” I was hired to do news for a morning satellite show. Before I was hired, I’d started my own company and had no intention of a career in radio. I saw web as the future and radio, without photos, bores me. I took the job as a “fun thing to do.” The way I was cut loose, as was my co-worker, confirmed all of my reasons for owning my own company.

(You didn't really expect me to add worthwhile content to this, did you?)

And what's even more epic is that she's giving Bitchburn the reaming of a lifetime.
He totally screwed himself now, he messed with the WRONG person.
